Provence

The department of Var in the Provence stands for sea, sun and beach. Everyone knows the coast with Saint-Tropez as a tourist attraction. But there is also a hilly green hinterland with a wealth of natural beauty, culture treasures and picturesque villages. The blue skies, bright lights, scents of lavender, rosemary, thyme and, during the grape harvest, of pressed grapes. The magic of Var is in its variety – not only geographic but also historic and cultural.

Saint-Tropez

The Var is a Walhalla for sports lovers. Aquatics, golfing, hiking, cycling, motorcycling and climbing – it is all possible. Gastronomes and wine lovers, too, can come into their own here.
